The bottom of your receiver case is a good home for sand, dirt, rocks, and dust, and since receivers are not completely sealed, it isn't hard for this kind of debris to make it in. Crap in the bottom of your receiver case can spell disaster if left untreated. The debris can make contact with the receiver's circuit board and short out the components, creating radio interference or glitching. Pull your receiver apart every few races and clean it out. A simple dump and swipe with a clean bristle brush will do the trick and help to eliminate radio interference.

Hope this helps some of you. 8)

Some very good advice here.

This is something that I do on a regular basis. Especially before heading away to a major event, part of the pre-event equipment prep.

well I cant open my receiver?? weird.....anyhoo my problem is that its glitchy , as in the car go's nuts , it'll steer off by itself and accelerate wen i dont want it too , even wen the car is idle , it goes off . now all i can think of is the fact that i hav 2 cuts/nicks in the antenna wire :

I tried covering the cuts with electric tape but it still hasnt sorted it , any suggestions?? cheers

I deleted the BUMP as I hate them

First thing I would suggest is to use a different receiver and try it again.
This is all a process of elimination.
Have you tried that yet?
Have you tried a different motor as a test?
