HI Lads,

Looking at cheap brushless motors to have as a spare, but they all seem to be rated in KV, how do the KV compare to the number of turns??

Any help appreciated.

Have a look here:

http://www.teamnovak.com/products/brush ... _chart.htm

There's the KV for each of the Novak motors.
(Do you understand what KV is?)

I know KV stands for Kilo Volt  :alien:

It has to do with the amount of KV a motor will draw in an hour if im not wrong  :cherry:

The lower the turn the higher the KV Draw  :geek:

Did you look at the chart ????
See the turns from the motors 10.5,13.5,etc
then look at the kv 4.200 =10.5t thats the pro .
13.5t  = 3.300kv .. 8.5 t = 5.000kv..

You with me now ??
The higher the kv the lower the turns ... :bigsmurf:

But as far as I know we are only allowed to run Turn rating as opposed to KV rating under some rules ( BRCA ???)
