Wed night my motor was giving me grief again, spluttering along and interfering with my steering as it did it, moving the receiver and speed controller away from each other seemed to stop the interference, but the motor continued to miss. I've discovered one of the SMD Capacitors on the can is missing, I'm thinking of removing the other and replacing them with ones I got for the Tamiya motor I had. The ones I have are .1uf anyone know what capacitance the Orion Core stock capacitors are. Kieran.

I will leave Mick Bolger or Derek answer this one.
Have you tried a completely different motor to eliminate the problem?

You can replace the SM capacitors on the core with 'normal' capacitors.
0.1uf is the value that you are are looking to get.

Here's a how to guide.

http://aedownloads.com/pdf/solder_caps.pdf

So you want to install three in total. One from positive to negative. One from negative to ground, and one from positive to ground.
