Great idea guys.  Tamiya Cup racing is huge in Europe.  Controlled racing is great for allowing younger drivers to try out the sport for just a small investment and without having to know much technically.  The key to any controlled form of racing however is very clear and strict rules plus a good series co-ordinator.  Its something we have been talking about introducing up here to encourage more newcomers into the sport.

Regards,

Oisin
