POSSIBLE Prodrift 1:10 Championship - Who's interested ?

Well lads ,
the main reason for this thread is to see what sort of interest there would be in running a small RC drift championship along side/in conjunction with Prodrift .

I was thinking that we'd run say , 3 or 4 rounds , a nice enough number as we can't expect everyone to be able to make it to each one .

Locations would be as central and equally as accessible to evryone as possibel ,ie. we would try to host the rounds at event locations such as Mondello , probably twice and then two other locations .

We will try and get some sponsorship or funding so we could possibly have prizes etc.... The main idea would be to promote the hobby of course and just have some fun for ourselves and get everyone to know each other .

I'm thinking we would need ATLEAST 8 people , 12 would be a nice number .

PLease discuss and let us know if you're seriously interested in coming to all rounds to have some fun , get to know each other and spread some dori love . I will get back to Prodrift if enough interest is shown to see if we can still run this .......... let me know what you think .

If we were to start this off in our club.
How soon could it be organised?
We are thinking some Sunday in February?

How many would be available ?
drifting on Carpet.
Racing 1/10 touring cars the same day
Tamiya Mini racing as well

Well Vectra , we can do this pretty soon . We have the interest going , just need a date now .

Could we have round 1 of Prodrift Irl 1:10 down there on that day ?? I was already talking to Kieran (lotus) about it , he's up for it . PM me if you want , :)

Kieran and Audiobully are the Drift organisers
