Just a quick update - the old place is buried.
But the new club and off road track is almost there. Its taken 5 months of negotiating to get a 90m square of a disused airfield but its been worth it. The website is

We will be the only club in Wales that alllows the big beasties so one of the first thing will be to organise a date for Welsh Off Road Grand Prix for Large Scale. As we have had a great deal of interest, we are planning 2 events Individual and Team.
We will be able to borrow a timing system, hopefully.
The events will be low key so by invitation only. Rules to be advised later. There will be 3 levels of notification. Welsh will be informed first of all, then you guys across the water then a general release. We are only looking for 30-40 cars max.
Have even found a friendly camp site within 1 mile from the track - with showers n toilets all inclusive for less than £10 a night.
