Mick, There not the same thing but in short they are the same thing really. Well its hard to explain but when setting my car up, i get my droop say rear droop to 6mm then my ride hieght to 5mm, the measure downstops where by lifting the rear of the car off the ground at the centre line and measuring the up travel, If you have got everything spot on then both wheels should lift at the same time. If not then tweaking some set up stuff needs done.

Well, I'm confused........

Do you mean tweak in the chassis? IE the droop when measures from the pivot point of the a-arm is one measurement.  But because of a twist in the chassis gives overall another measurement. (When car is lifted up.)

MiCk B. :-)

Hey Paul,Overall shock length for the MI3 is 63.5mm.No internal spacer.Number 5 on the Schumacher droop gauge. If you have one.If not,Lay the car with wheels removed on a flat surface! And measure the distance from the surface to the top of the axle,Should be 24.5mm.Adjust droop screws to achieve same allround. This is a specific setting for the MI3 or MI3.5.Hope this helps. If you have Questions or proplems dont hesitate to ask.Derek...
