Hi everyone, just registered on here, looks like a great forum!

I'm only beginning in all this, I have a Traxxas T-Maxx Nitro 3.3. It's a 4x4 type truck. Just crashed it once so far, so not too bad :D I have the reverse gear for it, just not the time to install it.

Anyway, chat you all soon
Seamie

Forgot to add, I'm about half way between Clonmel & Kilkenny.

Yeah Gavin, thatd be cool! Mine could do with some tuning tho, sometimes it kinda smothers and splutters when you dump on the gas, but other than that it's a weapon! But I'm not much of a driver! LOL

Both have their plus's and Minus's

The big Plus for electric is Ease of use.
Cleaner
Plug and Play basically
Put a half decent brushless setup in your car/buggy/truck and a set of Lipo's and have a ball
Alternatively
Buy a Petrol monster
Fill the tank
Pull the cord
Have a blast for up to 40 minutes per tank
No fiddling
No cursing. :O

Yeah Vectra,
I kinda see what you mean, I'm currently trying to tune my Nitro one.
I went for nitro that time, cos I had an impression that it'd be more 'torquey' and that it'd have more power... I also liked the challenge of the technicality of it it all.
Was I right I wonder?
